Bill of quantities (BOQ)
A list of every item of work with its description, unit and quantity, measured from the drawings before anyone prices it, so contractors fill in rates and their quotes can be compared line by line.
It is not an estimate (an expected cost), a quotation (a priced offer) or a bill of materials (the parts of one product). How to write one for interior work, with a free checker and a 41-item library, is in the interior BOQ guide.
