Fixed look-up
A read-only database query written in advance for one kind of question, with only the values (a client, a period) filled in at the time it runs, so the same question always gets the same maths as the app's screens.
In Ahrom Labs' assistants a small model only chooses which fixed look-up answers a question; code runs it. The look-ups each assistant has are listed, with the screen to check each against, in the question library. The opposite approach is text-to-SQL.
