Gypsum board false ceiling (flat field)

- How it is measured
- The flat field by plan area. Coves, drops and bands are usually a separate running-ft line; say whether cut-outs are deducted. No Indian Standard fixes this for modular work, so the line itself must say it.
- Indian Standards
- IS 1200 (Part 10), Method of measurement of building and civil engineering works: ceiling and linings.
- The line must name
- Ceiling board: gypsum, calcium silicate, mineral fibre, POP
- Framing: GI or galvanised steel sections, grid
- Thickness: in mm, for example 18 mm carcass
